Welcome to Deme Doula Collective
Hi, I’m Charlotte! I’m a full-spectrum birth doula, menstruation educator, yoga teacher, and meditation guide, here to offer a nonjudgmental space of support through all stages of life’s transitions. My approach is grounded in empathy, education, and empowerment, helping you feel informed, supported, and confident in your journey.
My journey has been shaped by many experiences, lessons, and the incredible people I’ve encountered along the way. I’ve learned so much from conversations with people navigating their cycles, the trainings I’ve had in birth and postpartum care, and from the mothers I’ve supported during the “fourth trimester” as a mother’s helper. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the collective wisdom and encouragement of those who’ve guided me.
My goal is to see this company grow and become a place where people can find the support they need during life's transitions, because as they say, “it takes a village.”
It’s a true privilege to be part of this work, whether it’s helping someone understand their cycles, guiding them in movement and wellness, or supporting them in their reproductive health.
I’m here to help you thrive at every step of the way.
My introduction to this space was as a nanny and mother’s helper. My years of experience with families has been so meaningful in shaping the way I approach nurturing and supporting growth. But my path really took a turn when I had a health scare related to my own reproductive health. As I worked to heal, I became deeply curious about my menstrual and hormonal health. I realized that the pain and fatigue I was experiencing during my cycle were signs that I wasn’t in tune with my body’s needs. Learning to listen and take action in a more informed way was truly life-changing.
Equally transformative were my studies and training with Breathe for Change, MamaGlow, and MaYoga. These experiences gave me the tools to support others in their own healing journeys, including Birth and Postpartum Doula Trainings, the Yoga of Birth, Pregnancy, and Healing, and an introduction to Ayurvedic medicine for holistic wellness.
I’ve always been passionate about education, and for the past 14 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching children in areas like gymnastics, dance, yoga, music, art, and theatre in both public schools and private settings. Now, alongside my work as an arts educator, I’m proud to be a full-spectrum birth doula, menstruation educator, and 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
It’s an honor to bring my love for teaching, wellness, and holistic support together to help empower individuals and families through all the transitions life brings.
